Life Insurance is the only investment that matures at the very time that it is needed most

Tom Plemmons truly understands the value and importance of life and disability insurance. At the age of six his wife’s father did not come home and her life was forever changed. Later, his brother David would nearly die and was condemned to a lifetime on disability. He has also dealt with multiple suicides in the family, including his brother Chuck. We all deal with death, but the way that we prepare makes a huge difference for our family and our loved ones. It’s the difference between a life of financial security and loving memories and a life of financial difficulties for the ones that we love.

Tom played football at Dorman High School and then graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate, where he earned a marketing degree. He would go on to earn his MBA with a Master’s in Marketing and International Business from the University of South Carolina. He is licensed and certified as a life insurance and long-term care consultant and holds the Series 7, 6 and 63 investment designations. He has continued his professional education by graduating from the Leadership Spartanburg, class of 2011, a Harvard Negotiation graduate, and graduated from the Southeastern Lions Club Leadership school.

Tom and his wife Vicky have two grown Daughters, Kelly and Emily, both of which they are very proud. They are self-proclaimed empty nesters with the exception of Lacey their Yellow Dudley Labrador and their cat Little Girl. They love to travel, spend time with family, and enjoy yard work, 5k’s, family Bible studies, football and Scuba Diving.
